Introducing our beading team. We work with a group of thirteen women, who has excellent craftworkmenship. They are from a small Community called KwaNyuswa near Botha’s Hill just outside Durban.

They first collaborated with kaMavundla in 2017 to put together the pieces designed exclusively for Imara and by far their relationship has grown ever since, being master craftsmen behind IMARA’s production with their excellent beading skills. Thanks to kaMavundla these magnificent women have been given hope by being given income and long-lasting business relationship. Each of these ladies has a profound beading foundation which has been brought down to them by their mother and grandmothers……. “talk about passing down excruciating and magnificent heritage”

KaMavundla gives the ladies different designs to work on and she trains them to adhere to IMARA’s standards which is to deliver product of high quality and class. These women are all important and form part of the IMARA family, creating kaMavundla’s vision and help her bring it to the world!
