Mrs. Khulile Mavundla-Lamula is the master mind behind Imara Jewellery, her passion for craft started when she was only a little girl watching her mother crafting Ilala baskets. She was born in Swaziland being her parent’s first daughter and grew up in the village of KwaHlabisa which is in the northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. KaMavundla “descendent of the Mavundla clan” is a qualified teacher and holds post graduate qualifications in LED and Project Management to name a few. She left her teaching career to pursue her dream of starting her own business, in 2005 Enza Management Services cc was born. Focusing on consulting services and project management. In addition, kaMavundla’s craft passion elevated and IMARA JEWELLERY was born. She developed a concept of taking traditional beads and decorating it to fit to today’s demand for modern African Jewellery. Through her creativity, expertise, hard work and dedication Imara Jewellery has been well received both locally and in the international market. Imara has been showcased around the world and is still going far thanks to kaMavundla’s vision.
